The role

  • Take load off Jonas in product and technology: prepare analyses, concepts and decision papers and accompany topics through to implementation.
  • Develop and steer the ecoverity automation, including the roadmap of our software platform.
  • Help steer the developer team: clarify priorities, follow up on topics and bring results together.
  • Look after internal optimisations and automations and push them forward.
  • Drive innovative, novel venture topics that sit with Jonas, such as the Digital Product Passport or Green AI.
  • Contribute to the high-level collaborations and the international clients that Jonas looks after.
  • A typical founder’s associate role: you look into every area of the start-up and move at a fast pace.

Signs you fit in with us

  • Studying industrial engineering, business informatics or a comparable subject.
  • Technical understanding, or at least a genuine interest in technology and automation.
  • Strong analytically and structured, clear in concepts and in writing.
  • High ownership and curiosity for topics that are not fully thought through yet: you think extremely proactively and independently and actively grow into your role.
  • Good German and confident English.
  • First experience from start-ups, consulting firms or your own projects is a plus.
  • Real motivation to work in a young, fast-moving start-up that is growing quickly but still at the beginning: you want to develop yourself, pull together with the team and think for yourself.
  • Extremely high attention to detail: you work cleanly, neatly and accurately.
  • A doer’s mentality: you talk little and simply get things done.

What we offer

  • Direct access to a founder: you see how product and technology come about and help shape both.
  • High responsibility from day one, topics of your own and a steep learning curve. Mentoring from our mentors and partners, plus onboarding through a range of training material.
  • We execute fast, test with real customers and build and implement right away instead of planning for long. That gives you the chance to put your own ideas, views and thoughts into practice quickly, without going through many approval loops.
  • What you build is used by manufacturers in their daily work. Life cycle assessments, EPDs and tools that make mid-sized companies more sustainable, not just a report.
  • A young, fast-moving team with shared offsites and coworking events to which we always invite the whole team. Freedom, ownership and initiative matter a lot to us: you develop yourself, decide freely, and your own ideas and suggestions are always taken seriously and usually implemented by you. At ecoverity you can realise your own potential. Hybrid between Aachen, Zurich and Munich, and remote.
  • Above-average pay of €2,000 gross per month, adjustable individually and based on performance.
  • A realistic path into a later working student role or permanent position.
