Full-time · Hybrid
LCA Specialist (f/m/d)
You take on the preparation of PCFs, LCAs and EPDs for our clients. You work directly and personally with manufacturers of construction products, from mid-sized companies to large corporations.
The role
- Independently carrying out product life cycle assessments to EN 15804 and ISO 14040/44.
- Data collection, inventory analysis and modelling in openLCA on the ecoinvent data basis.
- Producing standards-compliant background reports and accompanying verification through IBU or comparable programmes.
- Contributing to EPD and DPP projects for multi-layer construction products.
- Building internal methodology components such as templates, checklists and data architectures.
- Using our ecoverity LCA automation in client work and actively developing it further through your feedback.
Signs you fit in with us
- A degree in environmental engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, materials science or a comparable field.
- First experience with LCA software such as openLCA or GaBi and a solid understanding of the underlying standards EN 15804 and ISO 14040/44.
- Clear, factual communication in German and English.
- You think outside the box and consider how things can be done better, more efficiently and in a more structured way.
- High attention to detail: you work very accurately, neatly and cleanly, with data and documentation.
What we offer
- Early responsibility: your own projects and direct client contact from the start.
- What you build is used by manufacturers in their daily work. Life cycle assessments, EPDs and tools that make mid-sized companies more sustainable, not just a report.
- High responsibility from day one, topics of your own and a steep learning curve. Mentoring from our mentors and partners, plus onboarding through a range of training material.
- We execute fast, test with real customers and build and implement right away instead of planning for long. That gives you the chance to put your own ideas, views and thoughts into practice quickly, without going through many approval loops.
- A young, fast-moving team with shared offsites and coworking events to which we always invite the whole team. Freedom, ownership and initiative matter a lot to us: you develop yourself, decide freely, and your own ideas and suggestions are always taken seriously and usually implemented by you. At ecoverity you can realise your own potential. Hybrid between Aachen, Zurich and Munich, and remote.
- Pay is agreed individually as part of the application process. It depends on factors such as your previous professional and work experience and ranges from €3,000 to €4,500 gross per month.
