Software Engineering Intern (f/m/d)

The role

• Helping to build the ecoverity software platform: internal tools that automate and accelerate LCA and EPD workflows.
• Delivering well-scoped features in our production and data processing pipelines, for example for data extraction, structuring and plausibility checks with AI.
• Working on our data architecture: master data and interfaces to ecoinvent, Ökobau.dat and client data.
• Contributing to tools for DPP generation and to our client-facing web platform.
• Tests, documentation and code reviews in the team.
• Your own proposals for automating recurring work steps.

Signs you fit in with us

• Currently studying computer science, software engineering, data science or a comparable field.
• First experience with Python for data processing and APIs, and with TypeScript or a comparable web language.
• A basic understanding of databases and REST interfaces.
• An interest in AI integrations such as LLM APIs, embedding pipelines and structured data extraction.
• A structured way of working and an appetite for building on a growing codebase.
• Real motivation to work in a young, fast-moving start-up that is growing quickly but still at the beginning: you want to develop yourself, pull together with the team and think for yourself.
• High attention to detail: you work cleanly, neatly and accurately.
• A doer’s mentality: you talk little and simply get things done.

• Above-average pay of €1,500 to €2,200 gross per month, depending on your previous professional experience and objective criteria.
