ecoverity Venturing Intern (f/m/d)

The role

• You drive genuinely new innovations that do not exist yet: the Digital Product Passport and Green AI are fields that science, regulation and industry are only just building, and you are in from the start.
• You research the regulatory picture around the DPP, the EU CPR and the ESPR as well as the scientific discussion on Green AI, prepare it and translate it into concrete opportunities for ecoverity.
• You develop concepts and prototypes in both venture areas and build your own business cases, business opportunities and first go-to-market approaches from them.
• You scan the market for startups, research groups and established providers and spot early where new technologies and business models are emerging.
• You build briefings, talks and pitches that win partners, clients and funders over to new ideas.
• You contribute to funding applications and to partnerships with universities and industry that turn ideas into real projects.

Signs you fit in with us

• Studying a technical, scientific, business-related or regulation-minded subject.
• An appetite for fields where much is still unsettled, and for reading scientific and legal sources in the original.
• Structured thinking and clear writing in German and English.
• First experience with research projects, your own writing or open source contributions is helpful.
• A clear motivation for sustainability, digitalisation and AI in an industrial context.
• Real motivation to work in a young, fast-moving start-up that is growing quickly but still at the beginning: you want to develop yourself, pull together with the team and think for yourself.
• High attention to detail: you work cleanly, neatly and accurately.
• A doer’s mentality: you talk little and simply get things done.

• Above-average pay of €1,000 to €2,000 gross per month, depending on your previous professional experience and objective criteria.
